ESP Electricity is an Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO).
ESP Electricity was created in 2003 and started operating in earnest in 2008. Since its creation, ESP Electricity has experienced rapid growth.
As in our gas connections business, ESP Electricity aims to take a flexible and innovative approach to projects, examining all the options to find the most cost-effective solution for our clients.
For new networks, ESP Electricity does not install the infrastructure - our business model is to adopt, operate and maintain the network once contractors have completed the works. We fully support and endorse the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) operated by Lloyds Register on behalf of the UK Distribution Network Operators. A list of NERS accredited contractors can be found on the Lloyds website here.
